RemoteConnector service: Can't be configured as separated service

It is not possible to complete the ConfigWizard because of the following error message:

• Warn Setup      Setup.Setup  The ConfigDataStore configuration is missing.

Workaround: 

• on machine1: Install and Configure the RemoteConnector service.
  • (optional disable service after config wizard)
• on machine2: Install only the RemoteConnector service.
• Start ConfigWizard (via commandline with configwiz.exe /u) and step through the ConfigWizard
