Summary 

Enreach releases the new firmware V1 R6.3.0 for the SwyxPhone L6x desk phone series.

Please note that this firmware is only released for the usage with Swyx 13 and higher.

Update 16.5.2023:Due to an accident, the manual download links below still referred to the previous version. This has just been corrected. The automatic update of the phones via FTP server was not affected. 

Information

This version is a pure bugfixing and maintenance version of the OEM vendor, which increases the overall stability and performance. There are no specific Swyx related issues fixed in that version. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended to update your SwxyPhones to that latest version

Note on SwyxPhone Firmware Update

To update the firmware at your SwyxServer you have to perform the following steps related to the installed SwyxWare version:

Open the Server Settings within the SwyxWare Administration and select the tab "SwyxPhone Firmware Update". Within this configuration select the option "Get". Hereby the SwyxServer will contact the Swyx FTP server (ftp.swyx.com) which is configured by default and query the latest firmware version.

After this you could validate, that the new firmware version was updated by checking the firmware version information.

Manual Download of SwyxPhone Firmware

In the context of a standard Swyx installation is no need for a manual download and update of the SwyxPhone firmware. Nevertheless there are some use cases where the manual update or the usage of a local FTP server make sense or is mandatory.
