SwyxIt! VisualGroups Webextension does not update when using SwyxWare 12.20

Summary

If you are using SwyxIt! clients earlier than 12.20 with SwyxWare 12.20, the Swyx VisualGroups web extensions may not be displayed correctly in the client.

The reason for this seemingly incorrect behavior is the extended remote connector support of the Swyx VisualGroups web extensions as introduced with SwyxWare 12.20.

Proposed solutions

• Update the SwyxIt!12.20 client

• Change the URL in the VisualGroups WebExtension as follows
  • Edit the SwyxIt! skin with the VisualGroups web extension via File/Skin/Edit
  • Click on the WWW symbol of the web extension.
  • In the window that opens select the SwyxIt Web Extension tab and select Load Skin from the Event list.
  • In the URL entry replace %VisualGroupsServername% with %ActiveServername%.
  • Save your changes
