SwyxDECT 500 Base Station firmware v4.60 released

SUMMARY

Swyx releases the new firmware v4.60 for DECT 500 base stations and corresponding SwyxPhone.

INFORMATION

Most important changes:

• G.722 is now supported.
• New start and background Swyx Image
• Fixed audio loss issue when negotiating and changing codec.
• Improved performance on RTX handsets with G722 codec during two outgoing parallel calls
• Further improvements in the operation of several base stations in a network

Further bugfixes can be found in the attached release notes.

It is recommended to perform the firmware update of the DECT system in a large maintenance window or after the end of service at the weekend, as the update may take some time depending on the system size until all devices are updated.

Please inform users that they place their handsets in the charging station at the end of duty.
