Beta for SwyxIt! 14.25 Release 2 available

SUMMARY

The new SwyxIt! with integrated auto-update function and the activatable beta channel provides Enreach with a new flexibility in software distribution that was previously not available in the Swyx platform.

New functions can now be shared with interested partners, customers and users at an early stage of development, feedback can be collected earlier than ever before and, due to the early phase, can also be taken into account directly.

The beta package consists of a new SwyxIt! 14.25 R2 Beta and can be easily distributed via the SwyxIt! beta channel without admin rights. Prerequisite is an installed, released SwyxIt! 14.25, a server update is not necessary.

The beta will be available for automatic download in mid-January, expected to be Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

INFORMATION

The new SwyxIt! Home Screen provides Swyx users with a centralised, clearly organised start page that can be customised to suit individual needs. Frequently used functions and relevant information can be placed in specific locations, ensuring they are always visible and accessible with just one mouse click. Thanks to freely configurable widgets and the new zoom functionality, the Home Screen can be optimally adapted to personal working styles, screen sizes, resolutions and roles — providing a clear, flexible and efficient experience.

  • Default Home Screen to provide new users or users after an update with a functional working environment immediately.
  • Support for roaming profiles: Storage of individual Home Screen configurations in the Swyx user settings.

• Importing and exporting Home Screen profiles for easy transfer and reuse of layouts

  • User Profile – Display of personal user information
  • Call Forwarding – Overview and status of call forwarding
  • Speed Dial Keys – Freely configurable list display of SwyxIt! Speed Dial keys
  • Call Journal – Call list with various configurable views (e.g., all, missed, newly missed, incoming, outgoing)
  • Voice Box – List of voice messages
• Zoom functionality to adjust SwyxIt! to screen size and resolution (Ctrl + mouse wheel, or Ctrl + (+)/(-), Ctrl + 0 to reset)
• Extension of the info header 
  • Display of the call forwarding destination when call forwarding is activated
  • Alert when voice mailbox quota is reached
  • Notification of afailure in the set-up of a CTI-connection
• Changes to log level no longer require a restart
• Various minor UI/UX improvements and bug fixes
• All features will also be available in the Swyx Connector for MS Teams upon release

Participation in the beta phase for SwyxIt! 14.25 R2 is open to all users. Prerequisite is an installed SwyxIt! 14.25.
Activate the option ‘Get beta version’ in Settings/App settings. As soon as the beta version or an update of the beta version is available, it will be installed automatically. The user does not need admin rights on the PC.

If unexpected problems occur with the beta version, you can simply deactivate the switch in the settings - the released version SwyxIt! 14.25 R1 will then be installed again.

You can do this simply by clicking on the feedback button in the top menu bar in the new SwyxIt! There you can also find a button that refers to an (anonymous) survey in which you have the opportunity to rate the new functions. Both feedback buttons are only available in the beta version.
