Maintenance: Annual Black Building Test at our Data Center (4 November 2026)

Dear Partners,

Once a year, our data center operator demonstrates that its facilities continue to operate during a power grid outage.

This year’s test is scheduled for 4 November 2026.

Procedure:

The main power supply line to the site will be disconnected, and the data center will run in island mode on its emergency generators.
The test verifies that the emergency power supply, power distribution and building systems work together fully automatically.

This is a real-world check of the resilience of the platform your services run on.

Maintenance window: 4 November 2026, 07:00 to 5 November 2026, 00:00 (CET)

Expected impact: None

If a generator fails, the IT load is automatically transferred to another generator without interruption.

Our teams will monitor all services throughout the test.
